My Jardini is Dying!! What's Wrong!!??

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Arowana's always recover best at temps between 88-92 F. Add salt ( 50/50 Aquarium/Epsom) at 0.3 % , this is best done in a hospital tank. You could always add half dose of primafix and melafix, to prevent secondary problems.

Thanks man, I'll have my brother up the temp and do the primafix and melafix later.

E-cat hides all day and only comes out to feed. And if it did shock, howcome no one else is affected?

My E-cat killed several fish without harming others in the tank, only the fish within an inch or so (ie attacking him) got seriously blasted. Sounds exactly like what happened to my CK..swimming around funny, etc.

Wow, I see,........... It's hard to say because those two never come in contact with eachother. The e cat only comes out at night looking for food.

Did your ck make it? what was wrong with it? It got zapped?

Oh no, he expired after a week of swiming upside down. He was 20" and the E-cat was about 6.

I actually saw him go after the E-cat, he came into contact with it and suddenly it looked like a silent explosion went off in the tank, fish darted everywhere...I think much of the damage was done by the CK darting straight up into the glass lid. Same thing could explain why the other fish weren't affected...your Jar may have been shocked and darted into the lid/side.

ONE WEEK?? That's a long time to suffer............... should I just end it?? Or is there a chance it'll come out of it? Some people survive lightning strikes.

And if yes, wht'a best method??

i think it might have gone looking for the cat or soemthing.
then zap!
either that or your tank is waaaayyyyyyy tooo overstocked.
just keep him in the hospital tank bump up the temp add salt and wait.
