My Jardini

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm in South Brunswick, originally from Bayonne.

It's a jardini aro , a great looking one at that :D they do tend to darken or lighten with substrate and environment change , some people put them in all white tanks to try sell them as albino or platinum but they change back once in a normal environment

Thats cool, i might get one and put a black background and substrate and see what he does lol. Do the black (or blue) arowana actually turn black? Or just their fins? I feel like a Jardini with dark background and substrate will be darker then the black/blue arowana, what you think?

I've always had black substrate...I love the way it makes my fish look, except my very first tank lol...ahh the good ole simple days

Theres just something about the Jardinis that I love...maybe it's their colors or maybe that they are the Aros that don't look like eels lol...

very nice color. could this be one of the black jardinis.
It's not a black but it is a nice jardini with dark tones the black jars are much darker than that and pricey :D

What makes them not look like eels? lol i dont know the difference between the arowana species

Jardini , lei's and Asians have more pronounced tails where as the silvers and black's are more tapered to a point at the end

You can see where the eel comment comes from lol I prefer the shape of jar's personally
