females have that white stripe on the dorsal right? hope mine's a female ;)
 
A red belly is a much more prominate trait of females in practically all pike cichlids....but you'll have to wait a bit for that. As it is, your pike is still a little small to be trying to decide what sex it is...lol.....trust me on this....its still up for grabs.

Bravo on the better pictures!! Do you think you could get some with a little more light to accent its features?

actually that pretty much what it looks like now, i'll just have to wait for its color morphs ;)
