my Juvie JD and Blue Acara

i thought that it was a hybrid because all the pics i saw of blue acaras didnt have horizontal lines of speckeling that and the tip of his tail fin is starting to color up like a gold saum

but yeah i really like them

Perfectly normal traits, only about the top half of the caudal lining will colour up orange/yellow.

yeah im trying to get a picture of it .. the one i posted dosnt show it very well but i can see some of it in the pic of the acara not by the pot .. but his coloring on his tail extends 1.5 mm in about .. and from top of the caudal to the bottom .. so yeah i think full grown he/she will be a beauty ... btw how do i sex a blue acara .. everywhere i looked i get conflicting answers

man nice fish they should look good when grown up. I just picked up a few blue acara.. although i think mine are alot smaller then yours.
