Dad looks good. White eyes and fertile! Example to disprove those who think white eyed kamfas are infertile.

People who know this theory know that's its just a less likely chance that the fh is fertile. Its not that they see white eyes and state its infertile, its just less of a chance of being fertile compared to red eyes who are deemed more fertile. Were not saying that a fh with white eyes is infertile, there are infertile red eye flower horns too.

I think the reason cause a flowerhorn to infertile is because they consume too much of hormone food that contain Methyl testosterone, Chlorophyll Pink, etc.... If feeding and prolonged overdose will lead to unrecoverable damage to the reproductive organs and other internal organs such as liver and kidney. That's why even a flowerhorn with red eyes doesn't mean it is fertile. However, whether they still make full operations fertilize eggs as usual but the eggs never hatch. Just my 2 cents.

Excellent thread! What sized tank are the babies now?..... Is there aggression in the tank?
Do keep updating....

The pearling on your male is awesome looking!! He is beautiful. Hopefully many the offspring will have a lot of the males traits and you should end up with some nice looking flower horn. Keep the updates coming.

that's a good breeder. Take good care of him. Looks like a Tan King..

So what is the mother?

Thanks, bro. The babies are currently in the 55 gallon, but soon I will separate the smaller one to my second 55 gallon avoid the bigger one nipping and getting food from the smaller one. There is some aggression from the bigger picking on the smaller, but no harm or serious injures.
