I took your advice and traded in that male festae and moved the leporinus. I didn't realize it bt man that festae was really picking at 1 side of my kelberi. Kelberi should run tank now. Thanks for the input Ganster.

Thats what we are here for. WOuld love to see some updated pics in a week or two once he colors up a bit more.

I've already noticed more black spots surrounded by gold rings, but I work so much and it seems like that festae was nipping up one side when th kelberi swam to his side he must have been biting the backside and bass would swim away. The kelberi should now run the tank; he's w/ a pair of large festivums (not permanent), what I think was a amazonarum female, a vampie tetra, a pretty big silver dollar, a pick tailed chalceus, a adonis pleco, a really chill big temporalis, a ripsaw catfish and a mean ass surinamensis that is half the size of the kel. I vitachemed and salted him up last night, he will be fine.

nice do those cats allways look so skinny ?
Yes the planiceps stays skinny and I read that the natives gave it its name FIREWOOD catfish because its so skinny and tastes so bad that they would rather burn it than eat it! Although he kind of blimped up a bit when he inhaled my islantum!
