Me being a hobbyist I am enjoying seeing the prices in cichla go down.
Let's hope the quality stays good
are these legit bass like Rapps? Price seem too good to be true.

You guys that are in love with Rapps crack me up.

i have nothing against American Cichlids. I didn't know they have been around this long.

Yes they are.
But you my friend picked up some nice ones as well.
Makes you wonder at these prices...are the big breeders in the US finally figuring it out?
I hope so ;)

Thanks man from what I can see they look good for 50 bucks ha. I still can't even go near the tank. I hope there eating those BW I dump in there cause they are mighty skinny. Again though I believe they originally were bred in Florida at imperial tropicals. And there website looks great. No pics of there kels or parents though.

Ahh this is gonna be harder than I thought lol. I figured being captive fish they would go after bloodworms or something but I guess they were eating live :(. Still afraid of me. I had to hide to see if they were eating and there not it's all getting sucked up into the filter. I caught two of them trying to eat but they spit the BW right out. Ugh.

50 cent convict sale at country max! lol. All four kels are now eating frozen blood worms. Not crazy amounts but they are finally eating thanks to the teacher fish. Also ever sense I introduced the two baby convicts not only did they start eating but they are much more active and do not hide at all anymore. :)
