That's a good-looking fish, Daniel. 
Mine has really lightened up since my freddy is gone. He's doing well in the big community ATM. I was afraid he would raise hell before I could get him his own 75 or 90, but he's doing quite well and might just stay in the 125.
And ewurm, I believe your method to be far superior to mine, because you are providing top-quality entertainment. You're so giving.

Hard to say, but I'm looking forward to growing mine out!
I saw some other fish from the same clutch and it would seem I selected the best one of the bunch. I'm only guessing, but I expect my fish to top out in the 9" area.
Personally I have only ever seen ONE JD that got to 10", and the biggest (but probably not full-grown) texas I've seen was about 8." All I hope for is that he won't wreak havoc on my 125 before I can get him his own space if need be.

it looks exactly like the little guy I picked up months back and Ive been wondering what it is for months b/c I thought it was a JD but something was a little off so it had to be a mix with something, and it looks exactly like yours so maybe thats what my dude is o__o Anywho nice looking fish and a good pick up!
