My king snake...eating =]

I feed him in the tank. It lets him chase it around first rather then cornerd. Plus he likes to hang in the leaves and attack from the top once in awhile.

Yeah, i will be upgrading to a larger tank when he gets larger. But the same layout, real plants even.

that is a beuatifull californina king...I don't feed live to mine because i am afraid they get wounded by claws, be it mice or lizzard's..

Yeah, but if its fast enough. it would constrict them by the time they can even react.

Im on the look out for a cheap snake to feed him...

Cheapest so far i found was a $50 corn snake...

I wonder what else he eats.

lol.. garter snake...i think smmfish was concerned about feeding in the cage cuz the snake asociates any tank interaction as feeding and then when you go to pet him he runs away cuz theres no food or he strikes you.. :/ main reason in feeding outside the cage
