My KK

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Oh i see. So yours is one of those koky juveniles. Is it one of the Viper strain kk? I been looking around online alot since getting impatient with growth, particularly like the color development on kok and growth of your fish. I currently have mine in a community setup. He's the top dog but not too aggressive. He's 3" body wise and not nearly as stock as yours in the photo above @3". Hmmm. Water change once a week? Doing 20% every 2 days ATM, but I will try to space it out more. You think having him solo would help kok pop more? I though they need to just be dominant fish. The photo is a few weeks old and he is 3"now body wise. Also removed all gt. it was to much bio load. Have 3 female bp with him now and a petsmart rt for him to chase around.60 gal ATM.

Mine is not one of those viper genes. I got mine from lakefish.

As for my experience and this is only my opinion. They like the tank to themselves and they like older water. I even tried putting a female with him and that made it worse but as soon as I took the female his head came bag in 2 days

Thanks for all the advice. I guess I'll be playing musical tanks with the fish today and move them around so he can be solo. I have him with tankmates ATM because I'd like to do a 180 with him and bp in the future and I hear that's how you keep him social. Oh well, on the other hand I want his kok to pop more. Please keep us updated, Id like to see how big he gets. Subscribed.
