My large black piranha....

First post on here... I am a member of another site--- just passing thru basically--- this is my 13" Venezualan Rhombeus(black p)... bought originally from Shark Aquarium. I know this site is more geared to non-piranhas but figured some would like to see this guy- enjoy...

^yeah, he is a beast.... I had to line the back wall of his 125 with slate--- he was constanitly chasing his reflection creating the chimple you can see in pic 2--- the tank looks real nice now and his chimple has since went away-

he doesnt get feeders.... feeders are typically pretty dirty and can carry diseases which is pretty risky when dealing with such a valuable fish--- this guy is thought to be known as the largest "venezualan" rhom captive in the usa...its a tough claim to prove, but there are none known which are larger.... i had a smaller one but sold him off when this guy became availible--- ive only had him for 3 1/2 weeks and he mainly eats large shrimp/squid/smelt...
