One No two fish are the same and two if it was female it wouldnt have spangles thru out its body it would mostly around its head.

Yes and that was exactly my reason for considering him being EBJD. The beard says female but the vent says male....I won't know unless he decides to spawn with one of my female bgjds.

Try putting him and two females together. Maybe you'll get lucky. I've looked at the pic about 20 times I still see a male plus the vent doesn't lie. It kinda looks like the male I had in my 55 before I moved.
