You cannot have too many SD's. I have found that a larger group helps keep everyone calm.

The more you have the better they do  Natural shoals

Hi,

I am geting a little concerned about my new doolars because they have not yet shown any interest in feeding with the other fish other than nibbling at some jave moss that is growing on a piece of wood. I am sure that they are not being bullied by any of the fish and the water quality is good because all the inhabitnats are feeding well.

Could it be that they are still not completly settled in, even after 2 weeks? I am working on making the lighting dimmer to further help them feel more at home.

They are currently being fed on veg. pellits, cucumber, lettuce. Any thoughts as to what I could try?

When I had the big ones they would eat anything, nibbling on the java moss is a good thing as they are feeding. Are they all swimming together or are the newbies swimming separately?
