My LFS is at it again.

Some kid at a local chain pet store (I guess you could call it that, they have like 4-5 stores across the state) gave me $60 store credit for 3 large silver dollars and an oscar once. After he did it the manager tried to talk me down on it, but a deal was a deal I felt kind of bad afterwards because I think the new guy probably got ripped for that one, but at least it was store credit. There was one lfs around here for a while that actually did fair trade ins, but now you can't even donate to them.

Its even more ridiculous when they have two tanks side by side with the exact same stock in them, but both prices are totally different. Countless times iv seen something labelled as "show" quality, when the tank with the same stock next to it look even better (not beaten up or sick).

My lfs has some tiger Oscars in at the moment on sale for £6 each, but has them labelled as fish that grow to max 8inches! I did find it quite amusing that the tank next ti the babies had a near 12" Oscar in it though, but why do they have to lie?!!!

Yeah my LFS will only take "donations" as they call them and then they turn around and charge double what they should. Really makes me mad when your a loyal customer and they wont give you trade or cash. The only way they will give you trade or cash is if you are a steady supplier for some of there tanks...so lame

Two days ago at my LFS they had 3 tanks one labled bichir, one labled sens, and one lables palmas polli. Price on the first tank 10.99 second was 7.99 and the palmas polli tank was 6.99. So I descided to check out all three tanks. Turns out all tanks had juvi sens at all random sizes.

If they cost more as a pair, why sell them for a high price individually? Makes no sense...
