My lil coral experiment

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I am a fairly experienced reefer...I think that this will be tight...and that h2o quality might suffer.

But with only softies and macros...and large water changes, I think it might be possible. Upgrade to a 20g for a little more space for everyone.

Forget it just read up on a story just like mine and his tank crashed in a mateter of days... I think my coral are going to die.... They havnt opened up at all yet. Been 2days. Btw the skimmer is running now it's rated for 50g on a 15g think there's still a chance for my coral?

If you didn't let your tank cycle, I highly recommend you purchasing "Seachem Stability" I used it for marine quarentine tank sessions and my freshwater fish tank. No fish has died during these sessions...approx 12 fish have gone through this cycling addictive at different times.

I agree with what Fleshy said - if you choose the right corals ( ones that filter feed exclusively ) like gorganians, colts, and kenyas - it's possible. However 15 gal. is probably too small for these corals. I didn't include polyps because you said 50% water changes - they'll bleach with temp changes.
