Thank you:) he is growing on me very fast. And Nolagt I agree 125's would be too small:( but shoot after u get your ornatums, rtms spawning along with your festaes you should be able to make some extra funds for a larger tank;)

I might double stack some 180's one day for a pair and some umbies. That's about the biggest tank I could get in my area. I have one more 6' wall I could pit a stand on...and it's upstairs around a spiral staircase. As it is a 125 is close. I'd probably have to strap a 180 on a dolly and bring it up vertical.
 
Both him and his dad are awsome looking fish.

Lostnight- this is a rio heridia, yellow dovii. And as far as local I'm not sure. I'm willing to bet the majority of doviis that are in lfs's are blues not yellows. But they yellows have been passed around pretty good over the last year. If you would like this strain Ira is selling them or you might be able to find someone whos got some in your area. Good luck

I am going to pull the divider for these two and see if they're ready. they are of size now so im keeping my fingers crossed;)
 
Damn...Dovii is amazing. Great example of how having awesome looking parents = awesome looking children. Can't say that for every species :ROFL:
