Thank you:)

Nolagt- that sounds like alot of work trying to get a 180 up those stairs... just be careful bro and good luck:)

I am going to pull the divider for these two and see if they're ready. they are of size now so im keeping my fingers crossed;)

Are both your male and female dovii from ira ?

I was wondering if they were siblings

Yes the female that's in same tank is from ira. They are both f1,which in my opinion is still clean genes and doesn't bother me if they pair and breed as I don't plan on selling dovii fry anyway. I'm planning on picking up unrelated female also, but like I said it doesn't matter since I won't be selling their fry

I'm curious to see how they interact without the divider. It seemed they were aggressive to each other in the video.
I may add a sibling female with my male.

Thanks bro, I'll get these two paired out before too long and I'm waiting to see if he colors up more once they spawn

How long did you leave the divider up before removing? Also are going to be putting it back up then taking it out when your around until they bond?

Damn...Dovii is amazing. Great example of how having awesome looking parents = awesome looking children. Can't say that for every species
Bobby you are so right but I'm giving Jason his props because that was one of the wimpiest male of the batch I thought it was a female but after a couple weeks with Jason he looks like a champ. His bigger brothers display blues but show more of the natural rio heredia yellow. BTW Ed picked up a really gorgeous male from this group.

I added her to the tank about a week ago, they instantly were at it thru divider with the head shaking and kiting. I think I had the divider out for hour and a half before I had to leave then I put it back. And yes I will be repeating that till they pair out, which shouldn't be too much longer.

Thank you guys for comments and thank you Ira for the lil guy:) your right he was very whimpy when he arrived and was about 2.5" now he's 4" and growing fast. So far this guy is the total package and earned his place in my fish room;)
