What were the inverts? If they were mystery snails I'm gonna get mad -_-
 
Sorry bro. One gold mystery about the size of a ping pong ball, black racer about the size of a quarter, 30 or so rams horns and 4 ghost shrimp. Sucks but leeches are a PIA to get rid of.

I didn't wipe them out callously. I sacraficed a rams horn to put samples under the microscope first. Found leech eggs on the shell and a young leech hitching a ride under the mantle.

That's a good find. Rather avoid that happening again.

Ramshorns are awesome, I've never had too many at once. Don't know why

If they are hungry they dont breed as readily. But there's alot of factors that can effect population density

They bred well in my pygmy gourami tank but that cracked so that was over
 
I have trouble maintaining colonies in tanks housing BN pleco. The larger snails aren't bothered but i don't get any babies. I think the BNs are eatting either the eggs or the hatchlings
