the butti hardly toleraated anything not even a pleco.His favoitite mal is beefheart.
 
a friend of mine has a very large breeding pair and there main diet is snails,just regular garden snails,he gets them from his garden only beceause he's 100% sure theres no pestsides there,and beleve me,they go INSANE for the snails
 
I put some huge apple snails in the tank and he trys to eat them but they alwayz hurry back in the shell.So he alwayz picks them up and shoots them against the glass.He actually ate a 5 inch crawdad,by biting it in half.
