My little Monster

Hey MFK,
Starting to put together my little Monster. All I have right now is the stand that measures 60” x 24” x 24”. I’m going to try to stain the stand this weekend but we will see how the weather holds up. Hopefully I can order the aquarium next week. It should measure 60” x 24” x 30” it comes out to be 180 gallons. I know it’s not as big as lot of you guys have but it’s just right for my little place.
So far with filtration I’m going to run two canister filters. A Eheim 2217 and a fluval 404. I wanted to use a sump but with the stand so low and the doors only have a 10” space between door’s, I did not want to put something in the stand if I can’t get it out when the aquarium is full. I do have a small sump for a 60 gallon I could use but I don’t know if it would be worth it. That’s all for now. If you have any tips or anything else let me know.

I Finally had sometime to work on the stand. Here is a pic of the first coat of stain. I order the tank today and it should be here on FRIDAY.

looks great I have one but the foot prints 60x30x24 when i used lxwxh divide by 231 I got 187 gal just thought you like to know LOL now get that sucker up and running
