Today I put the sand in and some rock in the tank. Its not the best setup inside but it will do for now.

I wish, No I bought it at a pet store a few years back. I just need bigger rocks or something to go with it.

if i get a 180 id custom build it low, long, and wide for more surface area = more fish options.

this rich dude in manoa showed me his 1k gal he custom built and its only like 1.5' high and suuuuuper long and wide. has nice aros at 2'+ and none of em have drop eye

Really nice tank. I ran into a problem with my 150 tank when I did my 1st water change. I could not reach the bottom of the tank with the vacuum hose. I ended up building a platform out of plywood and 2x4's that I store under the bed, it works really well.
I suggest a larger piece of driftwood for you tank. I found a piece about 48" which serves as my focal point to my tank

I really like the dimensions of a 60" x 24" tank. In a way you get the best of both worlds.
