That tank is a beauty! Why not add a few asian aros?

I may in the future, but Im going to have to wait until the silver kicks the bucket, any arrow that goes in there would just get killed, he is older and territorial.

haha cool but i would move the computer way from the tank

Why I don't spill water, and if the tank breaks and Im next to it, Im dead LOL

but I do have insurance, on the computer the tank and the room, for water damage, :)

I'm actually donating it to a small local fish store, it will be one of there display tanks.
ya I really liked the wood, the rocks are on top of it to keep it from floating, I had it sitting there for 3 days before I set it up and it still wanted to float. Well I could not wait any longer so I set my tank up and just put a few rocks on top of the wood,, next time I'm cleaning I will see if still floats LOL

If your comin to LA you could donate it to me:D You are probably goin to have to wait a while to get those pieces to sink. Why don't you sell the tank?

amazing tank dimensions-kudos to you as well for what wanting to stock it loads. The green background is very original-gives a really natural look to the water and tank and I've never seen this before.
I'm curious regarding your Eheims-it looks like you've placed all the pipework on the right yet I see in some pictures an inlet sticking up in the middle by the rocks/wood. Also whats the pipes that are buried in the ground?
just a great tank fella

:headbang2

you should use your 200 gallon to grow out some Asian aros once they get big enough put them in the big tank and move the silver until the asians settle then youll be good just my 2 cent

great looking tank can't wait to see it all done. how long have you have those filters and how do you like them

"Ya I probably would, but its just easier for me to get the tank off my hands that way, and the guy at the Local fish store gives me good deals on stuff"

Hi ya thanks, I was reading up on how people painted there tanks, and I just got some information on it and did it. It gives it a very fresh look, something that I was not able to pull of with back ground paper on the outside.

I have run 4 pipes down the far left side to the Middle of the Tank, and I have Four Inlets that come up. So I Have Two Filters pulling water from the middle of the tank, and the last filter is pulling water from the left side. Works out pretty well, along with some external heaters. I kept the filters that were pulling the waters from the middle of the tank higher so it was no so far they would lag out, so the one filter that is on the ground is the one pulling in water from the side of the tank.

Two on the side,

Ya that's a great plan, but I'm really ok with one Arrowana right now, he seems to be enjoying his new space, :)
