Yes and no... I used about 150g of water out of the cycled 180g I took down. Then I used 2 seeded canister filters for filtration, and dropped the 2 bags of ceramic rings from the 2 ac110's that I had running on the 180g in the tank. It cycled quickly..No issues---I've done this before--LOL!!!!
