I heard that ,wide bar are completely extinct from Mekong but thin bar are really from Mekong. And very very forbidden to collect from Kanchanaburi. The last one 100% ST that was caught in Thailand in 2007 .

Sorry to derail a bit with the question (appreciated). Just hoping somebody from the area might get news somebody caught one fishing or see some swimming around. God that would be nice. The possible extinction (hobby included) of the thai pulcher makes me sick and quite sad
 
Google translate did not make it very clear. I think it is saying pollution is the main reason they are gone. Fish from Cambodia still exist, but low quality.
