Hmmm?
Caught this guy the other day when trying to get some sunfish for my 135G. After the first hour or so he was already attacking the bluegill so I removed them. I didn't expect him to try to eat for a few days, but within hours he readily accepted night crawlers, pellets, and some goldfish.

Hes around 15" give or take an inch.

For filtration I have an FX5 and an EMP400. A single 250w heater has the temp around 68º.

For those of you that say he needs a bigger tank, before that day comes, he will be on the grill.

.....on the grill! :)

Very nice LMB lets all hope you don't get attach to him before doing so.

nice largemouth.

unless you don't use water conditioners and or dechlorifiers then you can't eat him on the grill.
any fish kept in an aquarium has been exposed to unnatural chemicals and is not fit for a human to eat.

where'd you hear that? Eat-worthy fish are constantly exposed to unnatural chemicals...

Thats funny. So would you consider him an investment in your dining pleasure or a pet? You're gonna be drinking a glass of wine, crying, and eating your fish alone.
