neat tank

how do you manage keeping that toxotes in that tank, any probs u facing with it being a brackish fish ???

awesome tank man.. I got a question for you though.. I've had several problems with my loaches surviving. I have 40 gallon growout 36x16x20 or something like that maybe its the 48x13x20, its a marineland that is tall and and not very deep. Ive had loaches from 3'' to 1.5'' and after water changes they seem to die off. I do 40-50% water changes every 2-3 days, they are in the the tank with a NTT and a few tiny discus. filtration is a ehiem 2217. I figure id ask you, you seem to have a lot of luck

thanks..cant understand why would your loaches die off after water changes...i do weekly water changes 60-70% and do water parameter check's every 2nd week..i also add stress coat water conditioner to my water changes.. are you using any conditioner as loaches are a scaless fish? maybe water change every 2-3 days is too much for them?

just some saddle backs.

its pretty sweet seeing them schooling up in the mornings swimming in the current from my powerheads.

Not what I expected to see at all when opening the thread. What a cool tank, man. Very impressive. Everything looks super crispy too. Have you had any problems with the loaches going at the other fish, or vice versa? It is just a great site to see your tank, thanks for sharing.
