No its not a Parrot cross. Short bodied fish are the result of crossing with Parrots.

short body fish are a deformaity i have seen short body tetras in stores as well as short body central and south american pure breds but please correct me if im wrong i even had a short body electric blue dempsey at one time and still have a short body v. hetrospilious
