yes, they are mature at around 5-6 inches.

The Jags look alot like the Dovis when young.. At first, I thought my Jag was a Dovi. As he gets bigger, he looks like a silver JD.

the females will have black blotches on their sides and the males usually dont.

do you think the dovii will attack the Lungfish? he doesnt see him as a threat now since they sometimes share a hiding place. Should i be worried with the dovii attacking the lung when he gets comfortable?

My Dovii attacked everything that shared a tank with it.

oh ok...so mines has them so I guess its a female...Hey do you guys think if I found a large enough Carpintis* (green Texas) thats a male...would it be possible to breed them? I saw someone breed them already and saw a few videos of them and they just look Awesome!
