Yeah he is nice. I have one that is 3", I have had him since he was 1". I hope he will looks as good as yours when he gets bigger.

no way did u get him a year ago man! ive had myn 2 months and they've grown .5-.75 of an inch.!!!!

please fill me in, in a pm on how to make myn grow like yours!!

Doing the math, 7.5" divided by 12 months is only .625" of growth per month. That doesn't sound too fast but it's still quicker than mine is growing lol.

I can't wait til mine's hump is bigger and more well defined like yours' is.

yes but baring in mind once it reachs marturity its growth as good as will stop...

myn are 2" and growing .5-.75" a month.

He is currently in a 240g tank with 4 other fish in there.

My grammodes grew to 8" fairly fast about .5 to 1" per month. The growth slowed down after it reached 8" and started to bulk up. I always grow mine in a community setting so they tend to eat alot more. They are somewhat shy if raised in an isolated tank

my 7 arent shy, there are 7 grammodes ranging from 1-2.5" and 1 tetracanthus 3.5" and 1 friedrichsthalii 3"

how often did u feed him and what foods when he was same size as myn??

im currently feeding:
tetraprima mini granuals
NLS sinking pellets
Cichlid gold baby pellets
blood worms
brine shrimp

anything i should add or change?
