Bloat is not a parasite - it is excessive gastro-intestinal gas build up in the stomach causing swelling which twists the stomach. This creates exit blockage much like a kink in a garden hose. In fish it is fatal with no known proven cure. Once the stomach twists it's pretty much all over - sorry for your lose.
