Havoc got me really good had to go to the ER my tendon was showing. I washed it off with soap and water it hurt soo bad then I put Betadine on it and omg I about fainted it started going black and I had to sit down in in the floor. I layed down on the bed while my hubby cleaned me up. then we went to the ER. They didnt do stitches because it's a animal bite and I'm in antibiotics. I didnt get a picture with it wide open. This is after a couple days its closed up good and healing great. It looked like someone made like 4-5 cuts with a razor blade. I didnt think he was big enough to bite Like that.
Oh yeah. I'm glad I never got layed open by either of my big guys. That Timor monitor took a few strips of skin off me and ate them! But the waiting while she was wrenching on my finger to get the piece off .......... priceless. Lol that's what I don't miss about reptiles.
Yeah that's the bad thing about monitors. I had to wait 45 minutes one time it felt like hours. That was before I new you could get them off by pouring something in their mouth like tea/soda really anything but water.
Yup me too. When our dumirils boa decided to latch on to my ex and not let go I dumped some vinegar on it and it let go real quick nothing else was working. I honestly thought he was trying to eat her. Usually snakes strike and let go. He wasn't taking no for an answer. Never did that before or after.
My worst snake bite was from a dumirils and he was the sweetest chillest snake before.
