ok, so ive stated elsewhere that ive had lots of poblems in and out of fish life. i swapped food and neglected my tanks and water changes because i was occupied with other stuff but im trying to make more effort with my fish right now.
ive lost some rays, sold lots of rays and got rid of tanks and shut down my fish rooms. i only have two main tanks at the moment and a hospital tank that has a small adult ray and two pups atm so i have about 11 rays total. mostly from wild caught parents.
so whillst my rays are not looking their best because it will take several months for their colour to stabilise, i thought i would include some pics to show you guys who have been a great source of info for me and also to encourage me to keep going.

Great looking marbles! I suffer from marble mania right now too, I used to think they were substandard rays for some dumb reason, now I just absolutely love them! I have two that I'm growing out to breed. CB female, WC male. They are each pushing 12" and gaining fast! Pattern wise they are top shelf. Hope your getting back to full speed and getting your passion back!

They stunning marbles!!

Hey!! those little eys looking at you.... have to take your heart and give you the passion and enthusiasm back!!!
Good luck and all best for the future...

Thanks for sharing Yarg! None of us are perfect.... The important part is learning from mistakes. That's what the hobby is all about. Seems there are 2 kinds of hobbyists - the kind that make mistakes and learn from them and the kind that "don't make mistakes" the rest leave the hobby and aren't hobbyists...... lol.

You have some beautiful rays there no doubt - some real lookers in there. Take a good hard look at those beautiful rays and those pups and just take your time - let them inspire you. The more you appreciate thier beauty the more you'll put in to make them even more beautiful!

Keep at it man! Your stock proves the juice IS worth the squeeze!

Thanks for sharing! You should be very proud of that group! :)

thanks for the nice comments :-)
the rays in the other tank look much worse pattern wise but they are slowly coming back. Everyone is eating again now and the female in that last pic is getting better too. I was worried she wouldnt make it for a while but the dent between her eyes is gone now ( still very skinny though) she just needs a bit more fattening up. she is eating again so fingers crossed.

I want one pls

I want one pls

kind of you to say.
the mom of the pups pictured is in the first pic. she is F1 from wild M/F parents that i raised and eventually bred myself, so the pups pictured are F2 . The dad is the darker one in the pics although the pics dont make him look great.
im still trying to get the pups to eat something other than worms but im not planning on keeping them as i have recently got rid of several rays and downsized to make things easier. so they will probably be for sale when they have coloured up a bit.
things are looking good all round though and im not regretting getting rid of some rays / tanks to focus on the ones i still have.

I don't know if I can get one though because I am already getting a lot of fish and I don't know how it will do in my 200 gallon tank with a large fly river turtle

i dont want this to be a sale thread but im in the uk and i dont ship so its unlikely that you would be able to recieve them.
thank you all for your comments. ive been more involved with my rays and they are doing much better. thanks again for your support and interest.
