Thanks phull, and it's really true, noble warrior samurai fish. Even my girlfriend, not really a snakehead fan, snakeheads went up in her estimation after seeing what a noble warrior this fish was.

might not have been the silver so much as maybe he was bashing his head/body against the top of the tank, decor etc... that might have caused the most physical damage. The aro did its part for the mental aspect more probably chasing it all over the place.

Thanks for the gesture. Unfortunately the silver really is badass. Most of the fish in the tank have half their scales missing. The channa had some pretty bad lacerations and dents in his head from the aro, but I just didn't know how serious it was.
He was too brave for his own good, never gave an inch to the aro, never stopped eating and swimming.
He did bash himself too though.
I always seem to end up with one really aggressive fish. I mean - a silver of all things? It's more aggressive than my jardini was.
In a strange turn of events, my cuban gar is standing up to it and has bitten a few scales off and ripped it's fins. Strange, I've kept the cuban alone because he is so nervous.
I'll seperate them tomorrow before things get heated.

Very sad to hear bro. I'm sorry. I've lost so many sh's over the years for various reasons(before the ban of course), and it always sucked.

damn rummy i'm sorry for your loss. Just gotta keep your eyes peeled for more. If you want i have a couple of gachua's i could send. I know not as aggressive as most snakeheads but still fun to watch. But i dunno how to go about doing so
