Hi Mate.
Your right I did put mine up for sale a little while back, thought the rays were damaging their fins, big splits down them, seems they have been doing it to themselves by having disputes during the night. I have since added more drift wood which seems to have calmed them down which is very pleasing as these are great subjects to keep with rays as they are impressive big cats that pose no threat to ray pups when they are born.

Thanks for the information there Richard i've very rarely heard or seen anything on these cats, i think it's always good to learn new options for large cats which aren't predatory such as the very common tiger shovel nose or red tailed catfish options.
Niger cats are one of my favourite large cats which are placid
