Well checked it today while I was out fishing. Nothing in the trap. Bait was all still there so I put it back out again.

still floating?
maybe if its empty next time try to sink it

and if the trap doesnt work you can go to netting like i did

on both sides of the trap make a funnel like entrance it helps trap fish easier

I think I need to find a better place for it. Maybe I will go to the actual river and place it in somewheres. But I worry about someone taking it.

what i do when i set set line or minnow traps is get to know the river a little bit

get a nice long stake perfebly one you can screw into the ground so it stays better in the water and walk out in the river a little ways and stake it in the water

you can set up marker that you know where it is in the facinity. or find a sunken stationary tree and tie off to that

or another good way fish near it all night is my favorite lol

Maybe I could make it camo with leaves and such. lol Atleast topside so if people look down at it all they will see is leaves. =)

or if you make it sink use real strong fishing line instead of rope so they cant see it like if you use regular rope

It will definitely have to be some high test stuff. Just pulling this trap today I realized how heavy it was lol
