my minnows tank and a few other questions

The bucket idea sounds good, I'll probably just do that. Don't be offended guys I was merely saying I can't do it. If I could I would. I'll probably just use the buckets to house them. I appreciate the quick answers though,and realize you take time out to read this and answer.

Just so I know though, how many minnows can I successfully keep in a 15 gallon without an ammonia or nitrite spike? (for when it gets cycled)

dont leave the established bacteria by itself for very long otherwise it will die.

one week should be fine.

yeah, I'm just going to throw like 30 in there or something before I go. Maybe leave a bucket of ten and thats that. Thanks for all the help guys.

Since this tank is not cycled as far as we know, technically, none. A tank during the cycling period, has ammonia in it.

I'm talking about after its cycled. I know that while its in the midst of getting cycled it will have ammonia and nitrite. I'm talking about after its all been converted to Nitrate.
