I don't know you and I don't know your situation but at 18 you're an adult. Is there a reason you don't have a job and your own place? I moved out at 17, got room mates and did whatever I wanted.

Try moving out on your own and you'll will learn very quickly where the other money goes. Gas and electric, water bill, food, clothes, ....ect. The list goes on and on. I am not trying to rag on you, but if you are 18 and an adult as you say, then move out on your own. As long as you are living under someone elses roof they will always call the shots.........and rightfully so.

Now that you are 18, if you are healthy enough to work, you should not be sitting at home complaining on the computer, you should be working. Or maybe in school.

I agree with Deep South. Join the military. I did at age 18 and it was the best thing ever. I went into the USAF and had a blast fixing fighter aircraft and got paid to do it. I did go to war in 1991, but as a ground troop in the USAF, I was far from the war zone. Military isn't as bad as a lot of people make it out to be. It paid for my college and now I make enough money to buy all the toys that I want. New truck, new camping trailer, building a plywood tank for my motoro rays, etc......
