Wouldnt adding a pleco be a bad choice? I am just wondering about them eating the eggs and sorts.
Thx mate and the pleco thing was kinda an experiment to see if they cared or not, and doesnt bother them they just keep it away from the dish pleco did eat all the eggs that missed the dish tho, also once spawned i leave lights on 24/7 for the 2-3days till i pull fertilized eggs out

One of the females laid eggs for me last year. At that time I didn't have a male. As of now, I don't think I can breed them being that I only have a week and a half with them. But, they are pretty close. I just have to fatten up the female.

hmmm well i was keen to see how the pair would defend against small pleco even with lights on 24/7 pleco still managed to eat them all(altho hes banged up lol), so now my next mission with the 3rd spawn is to actually do everything to keep the batch and raise to bout 4cm before selling the reason i didnt try to raise batch 1 and 2 is cus i had no tank space to do so with the surprise arrival of my ray pups but by the time i get a 3rd spawn i should be ready
