i have a FH which looks a lot like ur Tmac could it be that it may be a trimac...or it is just a low grade FH....

I am thinking low grade FH. If you look at your nose and mouth it is longer than his trimac even though the coloring is similar.
My Trimac has the same short snout on it.
Thanks everyone for your nice comments. All these fish are in my 350g cichlid tank (96x24x36). I keep my tank filled with lots of large pieces of driftwood so there are many "caves" for the fish to swim in and out of. I also keep the tank overcrowded so the cichlids cannot get too territorial. I've been keeping cichlids for 25 years, and this strategy is the best for keeping big aggressive cichlids togther (IMHO). I just need to keep my eye on water parameters, which I do. I'll post some pics of the tank soon.
FH or Trimac is a tough call sometimes. I beleive mine is a Trimac because of the color (more solid color than flowers), the face (flatter and wider), and the very, very nasty attitude! When I had him in my 110g, he wouldn't let any other fish live with him, not even a pleco.

very nice tank man i have a 300 96x24x30 is it just me or do you hate deep tanks too i have got to invest in a longer gravel vac haha
