Old books and magazines do list the male max size as 18" SL ... we keep trying to find someone that will shoot for that mark but everyone wants to breed their males instead.
This guy may not end up breeding since I already have a male for my female....we shall see what he grows up to be! He's quickly becoming my favorite fish even though he is still small. Already rocking that big guy attitude(and nuchal hump!) lol
