i got your private message, i'm from Hong kong too but i'm studying in england at the moment. I also just got a red snakehead as well. You said that your snakehead is from Thailand did you buy it from there? I got mine in Sai Yeung Choi (Fish market) but they had no idea what it was. They said it will only get 3 inches. When I am in Hong Kong durin the summer i would LOVE to see your monster tank

hey sqratch - I'm amazed you any difficulty getting a red snakehead in HK, I thought they were common as anything over there. Afterall in Singapore they are sold as feeders.

My friend says he sees them once every 4 or 5 months for like 3 days. And they're really cheap.. The shop i got it from had no idea what it was. I asked her how big will it get she said this is as big as it gets and that was when they were about 2 inches. I even asked in chinese if they were snakeheads and she just made some name up i've never heard.
