Awesome thanks for the tips, it's in a quarantine bucket for a bit with some hiding spots for comfort I'll probably leave it for the night and try feeding tomorrow once it's settled. I'll get some more pics and videos when I switch it to a small tank :)

Yep :) make sure the top is sealed and any holes are plugged up its crazy what they can get out of like going up a filter waterfall. They always seem to do it at nite when the lights are out
 
Yeah my fire eels used to try that all the time those sneaky buggers, I have it in a plastic container with some plastic wrap around the top. We made it through the first night so I'll try feeding the little bugger something

Well he's had a traumatic few days just give him time and lots of hiding places :)
