Damn, last night I came home to find all my fish (except my Bichirs) floating, hanging onto life at the surface.

My Silver Arowana, Datnoid, and Turquoise Severum were already dead on the bottom.


While I was away all day, my little 5 year old cousin came over and poured ALL of my fish food (Freeze dried shrimp, and sinking pellets) into my fish tank. What a ****in waste of time and money for those fish. !#$@#$#!!!

I quickly moved all of the living fish out and changed a crapload of water. So my Oscar, JD, Green Terror, Convict all made it.....they were almost dead though.

12" Oscar gasping for air....He's back in great health now. You can see the dead Severum.

16" Silver Arowana and 8" Datnoid DEAD.....The Datnoid was a lucky find, $34.00 bucks...probably will never get one again. Silver Arowana $120.00

Dead 5" Green Severum....it was just beginning to develop awesome green/turquoise/red face colors!

DAMn, that sucks, I always tell my cousin to get atleast 3 ft away from my tank since they like to tap on the tank a lot

I'm really sorry to hear of your loss! Sucks big time! I once had a nephew tell me he fed my fish, so I ran to my tanks, and the little "Jerk" poured an entire tetra min can in my tropical tank. Luckily I was home and spent next hours fixing situation.

im 14 and my cuz is 8 or 9 .i was baby sitting her she says she fed my fish i run down she fed em half the can of flakes so i walked up hit her so hard she hade a 9 in bruise for like 2-3 weeks.i would have had my lil time with that kid and spanked him.or tell his mother to.or fed him so much he starts to float.

I almost had the exact same thing happen to my fish. Luckily i caught it in time...but man was i pissed. Now i have all of my food either up really high and in box's outa sight, or they are hidden..haha. Don't like other people around my tanks when I am not there for this reason, my fish's lifes are way more important to me.
