Thats an unfortunatly common story.Everyone be sure kids are supervised near your tanks if you dont know how smart they are.Sorry about your fish

Yeah, my little cousin is a spoiled little princess lol
I just gave her a little talk...she was pretty scared already 
I keep my food in my bedroom....but that morning I was feeding them and ran off to school early. I didn't come back home until 10 at night
My grandma is the only one home watching my little cousin and my little brother...but she has to clean, cook etc....while they watch TV in the living room with the Fish Tank.....plus noone in my family knows squat about taking care of fish.....so they pretty much watched my fish die!

ya man that is bs sry for those losses and i agree with making the parents pay for the fish. i kinda had a situation with my niece . i had said do not drag the magnet cleaner through the sand or it will scratch the glass and i went out that night and came home the next day and seen the sand all pushed away from the bottom with scratches on my tank. havent seen her since then but when i do look the f out.
that sucks man. I think the talking to was a good choice. Even though it is terrible what she did violence never solves anything. I would rather have the child feel bad for what they did than have them upset/mad because they where hit.

i rembered when 3weeks ago, my 3year old nefew came in my room when i was at work when i got home i found my bigest red-tail tetra that was suppose to be in my 10 it was in my 40gallon electric catfish tank!
i was pissed!sorry to hear about your lost from the looks of your fish they seem like they died a horrible, long painful death.
