that sucks. im nervouss to have my dad feed the fish! and im also nervous to have my cuzin uuse the magfloat cuz he gets sand in it and scratches the glass. now im keepiung my ood out of sight! sory to hear about the death of fish as beautiful as your.
sorry mate that sucks, every time someone comes in my room that arent my parents they arent allowed to touch the tank and if they do they get an ass wooping 
That is the worst loss of beautiful fish i have ever seen at one time.. what a nightmare for you.. but I am sure this happens more frequent then people think.. and like everyone said lock everything up from now on.. ... i hope you can try to explain to the child later... with out scaring her .. because i think she was just trying to be like you and feed the big fish..my sympathy to you..
Seriously, kids who do anything stupid should be mentally abused, tortured, and then handicapped so they are paralyzed and in a wheelchair (if they can end up affording one b/c disability luckily doesn't pay well) or a bed for the rest of their lives. And hopefully they live long too so they can suffer. If any little idiot ever did that to my clown loaches I would seriously scalp them. Calm and/or shy kids rock. Kids who spaz out like that should be medicated with pain, forever.

Geesh! My wife killed one of my shabunkins since I've been overseas and I damn near divorced her. I can only imagine how you felt. Time to slip a plastic bag over that kid's head and show him what the fish went through....... Ok. Maybe that's a little too much.
