He's still very young and only about 4.5".....His mom was almost completly red and the father looked like a blue diamond with a monster kok. A friend of mine still has the parents and breeds them so i know he's 100% FH....

Well Ridether....I bought him about 1.5 months ago and i had the benefit of picking it out of the fry right when they came in. I took the 3 largest ones and he had about an inch on the other 75 or so fry. I then put him with the other 2 in a 29 and after 3 weeks he had killed both of them. Right now i'd say hes close to 3 months old and is about 3.5 inches long but he has a tremendous amount of green throughout his body and face which strongly suggest its a male. But its my first umbee so i don't know for 100% that its a male. But due to his size and aggresion and green spangling over his siblings i'm confident he's a male. But for now the 180 is his with 4- 5" TinFoils as dithers. There was 5 but last week he killed one. He is definately living up to the umbee reputation. When you put your face up to the tank he comes right up to greet you and will stay there and face you until you leave. Awesome fish.........
