The full tank looks good. Switch the front tube for a white one and the lighting will look awesome. Also live plants and manzanita wood will look sweet when you get it done

So you think I ought to go with just twin 10K tubes or something? Any lower light plants you can think that'd do well in my tank? I was thinking maybe java moss or something, I believe these are 54W T5's if I'm not mistaken, so they give off decent light.... I can't wait to get some manzanita wood in there, I really want a large stump and maybe some branches, I'm a HUGE sucker for biotope tanks.

I'd definitely keep one of those green tubes and combine it with a marine white tube so you can bring out the blues and the greens in your orinos. You could grow a decent variety of plants with those lights. A good plant substrate would help and maybe even co2. I really want to set up a fully planted 120 or 150g some day to use as a cichla grow out.
That'd be sweet. I'll leave the white tube in as it's actually quite yellow, I bought the lights used and based on the looks of the tubes they're kinda old. I was thinking of growing plants that can attach to driftwood, I really don't want to try and switch substrates because this tank is so tall and a pain in the *** to work on anyway. Planted cichla tanks are pretty awesome IMO.
