Every six months, I go to Canada. Most of the time, I visit Calgary, Alberta as I have many wonderful friends there, and I date a French Canadian that lives in Calgary. About two weeks ago, I flew to Montreal, Quebec, Canada to meet the family, and my possible future mother-in-law. Aside from getting tonsillitis, and strep throat, my recent trip was magnificent. My layover was in Toronto, so I can technically say I have been to Toronto, we visited Ottawa, Ontario, Canada where I was able to touch the Parliament Building, we visited Quebec City, where we stayed in Hotel Hilton on the 17th floor which overlooked the Quebec Parliament building, and of course I was able to explore Montreal a bit. I tried escargot for the first time, and in all honesty I liked it. Speaking French in Quebec was very cool, though I speak France French, so the accent was a bit difficult for me to understand at first, and overall I know it's an experience I will always remember :) Here are some pictures for you guys!

The one with fries is a French Canadian dish called 'poutine,' it is so incredibly good! They usually put cheese curds, fries, and gravy in traditional poutine. What part of Ontario did you go to?

Nice trip eh!

Indeed it was :)
