By the way, not to hijack my own thread, a while back there was conversation about wild convicts not making it past 3" and that captives that made it to large sizes were not pure. I agree that most of the captive population is not "pure" but cons do have it in their genetic makeup to get past 4-5". A lot of the cons we caught were quite large.

Everything looks great except the fake plants. They look to artificial and I think they detract from the overall appearance of the tank.

Thanks, I know what you mean. I tried real plants but, with the Severum, silver dollar, tinfoils and argentea, that lasted about an hour.

Too bad because I love plants. When Reiner gave me the Severum he warned me though.
