Sorry, no updates yet. He's still in his quarantine tank. I quarantine everything for at least 3 weeks just to be safe. My female is patiently waiting though lol. As soon as I pair these two, I will definitely post some updates. I won't leave you guys hanging.

it would be incredible if he was feritle but hes most likley not... have you considered getting a high quality male carpintis to pair with you female? Thats what I would do if I had these fish, get a carpintis for the female and keep the male as a show fish

Thanks. Obviously I'm hoping he's fertile. It's not out of the realm of possibility. He does also have some red in his eyes so I'm not sure if that will play a factor, but I guess we will see. And yes I do have a high quality escondido from Thailand. He's not big enough for my female yet. She's a nasty brut and would beat him down. He's needs to get bigger before I would consider putting them together.
